Raptor Guitars opened on July 7th, 2007 at 7227 S Central Avenue, in Phoenix Arizona. A huge grand opening was held in the spacious parking lot of the plaza which featured bands such as Torbellino, pop singer Tahlia Francine, Soul Persuasion and the 80's hard rock band Dinonicus.
Since that time, the store has solidified its roots in the community and has had global recognition. Raptor Guitars has been written up in several local valley newspapers, been part of numerous FOX and 3TV newscasts, and has received international press for our contribution to the local community. We have also had several guitarists stop by for guitar clinics, such as Mark Kendall (Great White), David Ellefson (ex-Megadeth/F5), Nick Catanese (Black Label Society), John Moyer (Disturbed) and Bruce Kulick (KISS).
