APRIL 22, 2012

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closing of Raptor Guitars. We have thoroughly enjoyed being a part of your community. Thank you so much for supporting us over the years.

The Story of Raptor Guitars

Raptor Guitars opened on July 7th, 2007 in Central Phoenix, Arizona. A huge grand opening was held in the spacious parking lot of the plaza which featured bands such as Torbellino, pop singer Tahlia Francine, Soul Persuasion and the 80's hard rock band Dinonicus.

For almost five years, the store solidified its roots in the community and received global recognition. Selling a wide variety of guitars, drums, amps and other equipment, Raptor Guitars had been written up in several local valley newspapers, been part of numerous FOX and 3TV newscasts, and has received international press for our contribution to the local community. We also had the privilege of hosting several clinics from some of the best names in music, such as Mark Kendall (Great White), David Ellefson (Megadeth), Nick Catanese (Black Label Society), John Moyer (Disturbed), Bruce Kulick & Gene Simmons (KISS) and Rudy Sarzo (Quiet Riot, Dio, Whitesnake, Ozzy).
